In May 2007 The Progeria Research Foundation (PRF) made history with the start of a first-ever clinical trial for children with Progeria, the rapid aging disease. 28 children from 16 countries travel to Childrens Hospital Boston every 4 months for 2 years, to test a drug that shows great promise to be an effective treatment. And just nine years ago there was nothing being done medically for these children! PRF is funding the trial, and as of January 2009 has raised $1.78 of the $2 million needed. We hope this video inspires you to support our ONEpossible campaign to raise money for the trial. Please be ONE who makes the hope of a cure POSSIBLE! Please go to: www.onepossible.org to donate, and www.progeriaresearch.org for more information on Progeria and PRF's work.

I visited the website provided and easily donated 1000 dollars this morning. I am not a person with a lot of money at all. I scrape to get by like most. Issues like this need our attention and immediate help and I can only hope others will follow suit since they are so very close to raising enough money. Please find it in your hearts to help these children even if a donation is as small as a dime. If each person gave a dime or a dollar these children may have a future. Truly heartbreaking.

Can i still donate if i live in Europe?
ElleMia77: Oh my lord, I just got goosebumps by see what you have write. I agree with you! - If everybody did gave a little bit of donate, these poor children MAY have a brighter future but they won't if we people don't donate! :/
This makes me sad because WE people to donate to ANYTHING and EVERYTHING but if we just put a "stop sign", and think about it: We have forgotten this children, and alot of more. We don't even think about this in our future. How come?!
When I go to university, I will get a medical degree to find a BETTER cure for this children. With no doubt..
I wanna donate, but how can I do it? Can someone tell me? I live in Sweden, I really wanna donate. I don't care about the money, or how much I have to pay. I care about the future of the children. I care about my people, even if I don't live in the U.S.A, or Canada - They are still my people!
Im 14 and I really want to raise money , but I don't know where to send it to or wat to do..
